House of Refuge Sunnyslope has a new name, not a new mission. Learn More >
A place to rebuild, restore, and rise.
Hope begins with a roof, a warm bed,
and a path
forward.
OUR NEW NAME
Same mission. New name.
House of Refuge Sunnyslope has grown into something bigger than its original name reflected. Phoenix is our home city and a picture of rising. 6:10 comes from Ephesians 6:10, the Armor of God scripture we read over every resident at graduation.
The mission, the address, the leadership, and the people all stay the same.

No. Only the name and visual identity are changing. Not the mission, the address, the leadership, or the people.
We're still here, doing the same work in the same place. We're finally being named for what we've always been.

It’s more than shelter—at House of Refuge Sunnyslope, we provide a safe place to heal, rebuild, and move forward. Here, men, women, and children receive warm meals, a secure home, and the essential services they need to reclaim their lives. Hope isn’t just a word—it’s something you can feel in every meal shared, every prayer lifted, and every step toward a brighter future. Because no one should have to start over alone.
